Not Quite

There is no rest for the wicked
She says, although she doesn't feel quite
Wicked, just tired.  And doesn't wicked
Wear black?

She can't be wicked then since
She's wrapped up in a white knit sweater
To keep warm from the air conditioning
That makes her forget the 103 degree day
And she's at work anyway, can't be wicked at work
She thinks even though some are.
How else do you explain violence in the workplace?

Is it wicked to lose yourself in a fantasy that
No one else can see and, better yet, no one
Else would imagine could be your wildest dream?
No, she's just tired ... No one thinks her wicked.
