HEADING SOUTH

It happened down that street, full of old, musty
Even in sunlight, that's where I lost it.
Didn't look back, even once, even when bugs' bite
Drew me within I struggled ever so slightly
Knowing the resistance was fleeting

And lost was where I really wanted to be
Amongst the moss, the iron gates open, freeing
Not barring, soaking in the humidity like breath.
Yes, that's where I lost it you know ...
The corner before full circle.

We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.
~ T.S. Eliot
