The 'B' post needs to be moved back 10mm. I cut 15mm behind the door gap and 8mm ahead of the gap and 25mm up from the bottom edge of the body to capture the door handles. |
The 10mm was cut off and the post slid to the rear. This scrap will be used to fill the space. Notice the rear window has since been trimmed down. |
I used the tape to transfer the window opening shape to the other side of the model. |

The straight cuts are done with a razor saw. The cut along the driprail was done with the tip of a #11 Xacto using the back edge of the blade. It takes about 20 strokes to cut through this way. |
You can see the radius around the rear window is to tight. I will remove some of the roof and straigthen that area and replace a trimmed down portion. |
The 'panel' is nearly cut through and ready to pop out. It's still needed to establish the rear roof line. |

Made six little cuts to help the bend. A perfect fit. Now, just fit the removed piece back in place. |

Glue in a half round strip. |
To strengthen the splice I cut a groove. |
