Here's a photo of the Milano I took at the 1970 Chicago Auto Show. Pictures of this car are incredibly rare. I think it was shown at the 1970 auto shows and then destroyed. There has never been any photos pop up since then. The only photos that are on the web are from Ford's original press kit.

Press clipping:
"Only 43 inches high, the Mustang Milano is more than seven inches lower that a standard Mustang Sports Roof coup. Ram-Air hood is functional; top is chopped and windshield raked to a steep 67 degree angle. It was one of five Ford cars created for a touring exhibit in 1970."
Ford promotional photos of the Milano. When choosing a kit I noticed that the Milano had the same hood  as the 1969 Shelby Mustang, so that was a good starting point. I colorized the right photo to match the one on the left.
Here's a good example of  a 1970 Shelby Mustang. Notice the rear fender is very different from the Milano.
I will be using a Revell 1969 Shelby Mustang as the basis for the model. Some careful photography should reveal the changes to be made. One of the features of the Milano was that it had matching luggage! Guess I'll have to make some luggage, too.
