The hood is flipped over and rotated. This casues a problem for the mockup as it needs two right hood halves. So I used the the right half of a '59 Monogram Chevy which is much easier to find. |

This mockup will show 'how' it was built. It shows the Plastic-Wood and the 20 gauge coil wire. I'll send the mockup to Mitch Capps for his aid. The roof is used for the back of the bubble top. |

I'm building a mockup to help the clone the past program for the International Model Car Museum. The switch is that it's half a mockup, the right half is the original El Camino and the left is the TelStar. The surface of the vertical styrene slab is exactly at the center of the model. |

The front wire is added. I have found that it's harder to duplicate something than to just make it up ! This is a very accurate recreation. |

The rest will be wire and putty. I may finish small areas of the mockup. This is 18 gage wire. Slightly heavier than original. |
