New version: TelStar II

Shimming the bed to transfer the measurements of the fin height.

The fin, yet to be positioned.

Temporary legs added and the fin installed.

As per usual I carefully measured the model and made a template on file folder stock..

Cut from 1mm styrene flat stock are the side panels.

I reinforced the attachemnt with a strip of Evergreen styrene.

Boxed in the rear gate for mounting the tail light.

Added the lower body panels to increase overall strength and reduce puttty.

Back cut the wheel wells as in the original.

Here's the rear view of new lower panels.

The body now appears to be thin.
