The "felt pads" used for the Drionic device are nothing more than thick cotton batting. Instead of buying
a set of 4 replacement pads for $6.00 (plus $5.00 for shipping, with a $12.00 order minimum), I took my
$6.00 and bought a couple feet of thick cotton quilt batting from the local fabric store. There is enough
material to outlast the life of the Drionic units themselves! Each one works out to a few pennies rather
than a few bucks!

Simply cut the material into 4.5" x 5.25" rectangles. Rather than compensating for shrinkage, I find that
I have so much material that I can throw the pads away after several uses, and just cut out more as needed.
If you can't find batting that's thick enough, you can cut 4.5" x 10.5" rectangles, and fold them in half,
then stitch the edges together. My sewing machine is always out, so for me it would only take a couple
minutes of effort.
