THE SECOND DAY : Saturday, 27 December 1997
You know, it's harsh for us to wake up at half past seven and to enjoy the breakfast everyday in Beijing. The temperature was low and usually below zero. During every breakfast section, one can't see all of us sitting there as some of us might be late. However, this has distorted the schedule and so we were unable to arrive the sights on time several times.
Early this morning, we arrived at a Museum and guided by the staff there. The museum describes the war between our country and the invader, Japan. After we had left the museum, we went to the down town to have our lunch.
In the afternoon, we visited
the Palace, or the Forbidden City. The Palace is hugh and one can't imagine
how to construct such a large palace in the past. We stayed there for hours
and at night we enjoyed an acrobatics show.
