- Having the non-custodial parent take kids to the doctor in the attempt to make the non-custodial parent pay for the visit despite them already paying child support and health insurance in most cases.
- Not buying clothes for the kids and telling them there is no money for clothing while receiving child support and then making the non-custodial parent shop for clothes without reimbursement.
- Having the non-custodial parent buy the kids essentials by promising reimbursement and then reneging on payment.
- Attempts to reduce visitation by claiming disruption to the kids, your active schedule, missing of visitation time, etc.
- False accusations, normally indicated by no evidence or witness(es).
- Claiming inability to work outside the home or reduced work hours due to medical reasons or kids in order to get alimony or increase child support payments.
- Trashing the character or making accusations against the other parent in the presence of the kids.
- Withholding of evidence by her lawyer despite repeated requests, basically playing chicken with the legal process then facetiously claiming the amount of documentation is beyond the Interrogatories and Documentation requests and therefore onerous. Most reputable lawyers will advise full and complete disclosure to their clients.
- Filing of unsubstantiated accusations in court petitions is a sign of a sleazy lawyer at work, most reputable lawyers will not file an accusation without some kind of proof in order to protect their clients against a liable, slander or defamation of character suit.
