The Carlisle Manor House is a recent addition to the Carlisle holdings. When the present Duke, Phillip Pinegar, took his position as the head of House Carlisle he realized that at least half his business activities would require interaction in Amber City on a regular basis. Since his wife also enjoyed the city life, the Duke decided it would be better to invest in a new Manor rather than continue to pay out the high rents his mother and sister liked to run up on their visits.
The Carlisle Manor House is old but well kept up. Unlike many of the old houses in the West Hills District of Amber City, the Manor is not rumored to be haunted. Some renovations were done before the Duke and Duchess took up residence in the house, but these were small and mainly security related.
