THE BIG DAY IS HERE! - Here's the happy couple getting out of the car in Palacios before the wedding ceremony. In our culture, the groom picks up the bride before the ceremony.

THANKS FOR GIVING US ALCOHOL! - During the reception, the bride and groom visits every table and gives a toast. The guests in return wish them many years of happiness and present them with envelopes containing a gift to help the couple start their new life.

I bought my Monique dress at Melange Bridal off Far West Blvd. I really liked them because they were very patient and helpful when I tried on the dresses. The flowers were arranged by Always & Forever Florist on Burnet Road. They offered me more than I imagined. And the wonderful Italian creme wedding cake was baked by Sweetish Hill Bakery on Sixth Street. You can't really see it, but the baker decorated my cake to match the branches on my dress. It was truly a one-of-a-kind creation.
