My Traxxas Nitro Sport with a Proline RC-10GT Ford F-150 shell

My Nitro Sport has the Traxxas Carbon Fiber Rear shock mount with 360 degree header/pipe, Trinity Punk head, Motorsaver air filter, Cirrus CS-60MG BB servo, red Traxxas springs, and Proline tires.

Future Hop-ups: Carbon fiber or aluminum frame, don't know yet, I might convert to a Rustler.

This Nitro Sport is a lot of fun out in the desert. When I go dirtbike riding, I take this along to play around camp. Sometimes I play with the car more than riding sometimes. The 360 degree pipe makes it sound like a real 2-stroke engine. I love that Trinity Punk Head, it has that vintage dirt bike look to it. I rate this truck highly for it's complete package--price, options, fun!

This is the shot of the EZ-Start Mod., insert an aluminum elbow and tube then spray, it no longer slips.

08-01-03: I just ordered a blue pipe mount, carbon fibre brake rotor, carbon fibre tie bar and blue antenna mount from RD Racing. I also like their aluminum upper chassis or maybe the Rustler upgrade kit, haven't made up my mind yet. Pictures coming soon......

I forgot to mention that I got rid of the EZ Start and installed a Pull start. It should save some weight.

08-13-02: We went out to Wildomar OHV park in Riverside County, CA (actualy for dirtbike riding). This is a weak jump picture and a pic of the Sport doing a wheelie which is now a lot easier since I dumped the EZ Start. The Pull Start worked flawlessly. I only had these 2 pictures because I fried the transmission while steep hill climbing (with ruts). I didn't properly adjust the slipper clutch and the tranny completely gave out. So, the Sport is out of commission til I get all this stuff fixed. The truck still rips though.

10-01-02: I intalled the new RD racing pipe bracket, carbon fiber disc brake,and blue aluminum upper chassis. I also installed a Pro .15 carburator with a Racer's edge red aluminum/carbon fiber boost bottle, and yellow servo saver. I put in a completely new Differential since the old one had 3 stripped gears. With the new carb, this sucker is wheelie city in the parking lot.

05-04-03: I sold the Nitro Sport to fund my new TMAXX 2.5. I will keep this page up for information purposes.
