Disney currently has three onsite hotels. The classic Disneyland Hotel is as great as it ever has been. It recently remodeled the rooms and pool area. The hotel itself is it's own adventure park. It offers monorail service direct into the park.
The newest hotel is the Grand Californian. This hotel is amazingly beautiful and offers it's own access to the California Adventure. The hotel has a lobby that will take your breath away. The theme of the hotel is arts and crafts with most of the hotel in rich wood and handmade carpeting. The rooms are spacious.
The third hotel is the Paradise Pier. You can easily get to both parks from this hotel. It is the cheapest of the three hotels. Little ones can have tea with Mary Poppins at this hotel. This is an excellent choice for a family wanting to stay at a Disney property but has a smaller budget. You get all the perks of being on site.
There are also so many choices for hotels staying at an area hotel. Most hotels offer transportation to the parks or you can walk from several hotels. There are economy, moderate, home away from home properties, and deluxe hotel options.
