Once a young, mortal scientist, Amun was searching the entire world for an ancient race of gods he had read about when he was younger. He had no idea of the horrors he would behold once he found them.. He journeyed from a lush, Eden-like land into a circle of death. Every tree, every animal, was dead and rotting. Not even insects would enter here. The stench was unbearable, and it was getting late, but he had a feeling about this place.. Suddenly..he fell. It felt like centuries, the darkness and lack of noise only made it seem longer. He closed his eyes, thinking he had been sent to the heavens, when he finally landed.. every bone in his body was broken, each organ was split..but still he lived. He lay there for days in severe pain, until the light god happened upon him. He was ready to kill him, when he saw something special about this intruder.. He was taken in and healed completely, but not without a price to pay. The light god wanted to keep this handsome young man as his own for all of eternity. He removed his soul and replaced it with that of his long-deceased brother, Amun Re, the wind god. Then his body started to change. His body stretched, his skin grew so tight it broke and contorted his bones. His internal organs were put to waste and removed, as he no longer needed to eat. His blood slowly turned a strange, illuminated blue, and thicker, but his heart beat it faster and faster through his body, causing constant and extreme pain. His skin faded into an alabaster tone, the ebony darkness of his hair slowly melted away, leaving endless strands of pure, silken white. ..and he was always so cold..
