Preamble: It is hard to imagine that these 10 simple rules can be so interpreted to be anything less than the clear intention of handing humanity a set of guidelines to aid it in this time of trouble. In our time we have the ability to change the course of human development; we have the knowledge and basic understandings of human rights and equalities. We now know our own bodies and species and our world to such a degree that we know the troubles our species and our planet faces in the future. From this knowledge a logical, rational set of rules are made, rules which are not to be inflicted upon the individual by a nefarious government, rules which are not to be made by a minority and forced upon the majority. Rules which are meant for each individual to take responsibility and make efforts in their own personal choices to change the course of human destiny and bring about a future where humanity and its civilization are better and sustainable. To misinterpret these guidelines as anything other than the intent reflects just how much in error our civilization and species as a whole is in. The nature of our kind is such where when handed a proposition which clearly indicates thought and reason and faces the hard facts of what is and is not possible it balks and seeks to reveal a sinister plot behind basic acts of humanity. To read into these guidelines an ulterior motive demonstrates how selfish and unwilling our kind is to explore the possibilities and most importantly take individual responsibility for the future or our species. It reflects a level of purposeful ignorance which becomes stupidity when we consider that all the information which makes these guidelines sane is out there for the study of all free men and women. The interpretations and fears I have seen and heard when it comes to the "Georgia Guide stones" reflects the inability of the human nature to see the potential our species has. It also reflects that we are still very much bound by superstition and fear of the unknown. In spite of our great potential to be a species which excels beyond the basic programming of millions of years of evolution, we still have members who strike out in fear at simple, humane suggestions which would advance and sustain our species and bring a higher form of civilization into being. Almost Utopia in many ways. Lest you be confused, the tenants are not subjecting anyone to do something which is abhorrent or wrong or evil. They are attempting to temper our passions with the ability we all possess to reason. The guide stones were not put into place by a group who suggest or even want a minority or single government to force these things upon the whole world. It placed these stones, and used the secrecy and the unspoken mystery of its intent to cause humanity as individuals to seek out truth and most importantly to make choices on an individual level which can directly effect the development and progress of our species. Many are trying to reinterpret these stones to say something or that they are making a demand upon us which is impossible or unimaginable or even right. The controversy attempts to pull in the Beast (antichrist) NWO, Aliens, and other nefarious agencies and entities which may or may not exist. I ask that instead of reading this as the Agenda for the New World Order, that these stones are to be read as individual responsibility, with the knowledge contained, the suggestions given and a great deal of study and research to gain a basic understanding how we humans as a civilization are presently doing things. There are many sites out there who are asking you to add more information on to each tenant. They are asking you to just tag their system of belie onto the stones and believe them as they say. I have asked a few to link to their pages and on showing them what I offer they said no. You will need to look up the links. I did provide a link page to links through a search engine below. It may not work for long. I ask you to do the research, to seek out the knowledge, the history and above all else weigh in your own mind the current way things are done against the needs of all humanity. "Let These Be Guide stones to an Age of Reason" This is the capstone, this message is written in Babylonian Cuneiform, Egyptian Hieroglyphics and Sanskrit and classical Greek. Why are these languages, known as dead languages, used? Because they no longer change. They are timeless and are used in some cases for scientific study, classification. There is no mistake in interpretation because the language changes - the languages no longer change. English is a living language, it changes, fast. Take the word Gay (A controversial word, apt for this demonstration) In the Christmas Carol "Deck the halls" we are told to "Don our GAY apparel" Does this mean that we put on leather, dresses (if male) and dress up in rainbow clothing? No. It means your happy, festive clothing. Today gay is applied liberally to homosexuals. Not too long ago Gay meant "happy" And even in some early movies straight, classically male characters are accused of being gay or admitting that they are gay. Not homosexuals, but "happy or joyful" Thus 100 years ago when somebody wrote: "He is gay" it doesn't mean the person was homosexual, but that the person was happy. In the decades to come we have no idea what any word will mean. Words in a living language change, take on new meanings. Thus if one wishes to maintain their message they would use a language which no longer changes, a DEAD LANGUAGE. This is an insurance policy that the message doesn't change due to changes in meaning of words. The Message itself says: "Let these be Guide stones to an age of reason" No where does it suggest or imply that these are to be the only guides, none of the languages they are written in imply that these are to be forced (Careful examination of the languages and words used reveal a care in leaving it as a suggestion, not an order), They do not imply that we reach to Jefferson's "Age of Reason" No where are we told what reason is, it is left to the individual to decide what is and is not reason and reasonable. Yet even this cap stone is held up as holding a secret meaning holding dire consequences for our species. In one such interpretation the Author suggests that this message was purposefully hidden in dead languages in order to hide its true intent, which further in his interpretation he points fingers at a shadow government agency which seeks to enslave humanity. Age of Reason: What pray tell me is wrong with reason? Aside that many appear to be terrified of the notion that Reason can be used to promote our species in every endeavor it under takes, aside from those tightly bound "religious" folk who fear that science may remove their God from being by uncovering the universal laws of how everything works, usually underlying the greater superiority of any creator which may be (Science has not at any time removed a creator out of the picture, the lack of proof doesn't mean there isn't a creator. Anything before the Big bang in science is up to speculation - we will never be able to uncover what went on before the Big Bang, thus God may be there.). Reason and an Age of Reason requires everyone to think in a reasonable manner. That means everyone must have access to knowledge, everyone must be able to think rationally, everyone must be able to make an informed opinion. Education, breaking down the walls of ignorance, the bridging of cultures and peoples, nations and languages have all got to be in place before a true age of reason can emerge. A NOW which controls and stifles and tells you what to think, say and do will not be part of that Age of Reason. An Age of reason would be an age of wisdom, an age where superstition takes back seat to facts and truth. An age of Reason would temper all wild fantasy with logic and rationality, An age of reason would seek to uncover scientific truths which can not be biased by personal believes on who or what God is, can not be made with the preconceived notion that there is a God - to do so is contrary to the Scientific Method which is used to reveal universal truths which to date neither prove nor disprove the existence of a Creator. Reason above emotion would mean far less random shootings, far less crime and for the most part demands that each and every person must hold them selves accountable for their own actions, and must think and judge a think not based upon some interpretation of what God may have meant, but upon what is. An Age of reason means to balance what we know against what is right. An age of reason would demand for us to take individual responsibility for our world, our nation, our city our family, our selves. Trust me, no one can force an age of reason upon humanity, and Age of reason is not against Individual Faith, nor does it seek to establish a single government entity. The Georgia Guide Stones outline a clear and reasonable set of Guides which, if applied using reason and understanding of the world, would require individuals to take a hand in bringing about change. Some of the concepts are alien to most humans, never entertained due to religion, culture or individual fear. Without understanding or even the ability to see the clear need for some of these, it is easy to see devils where there are none. These concepts are Philosophical - not Religious - two fields which are oft times mistaken for each other. The Philosophies are humanistic, meaning that they are based upon humane treatment of all on a secular level. A secular level can be understood by all - Religious levels are not understood by all, can not be understood by all and always lead to harsh debate and denial and sometimes violent disagreements. In order to better understand these stones one needs to acknowledge that there is a great diversity in culture, tradition and religious beliefs and though you personally may think yours is the best, there is no proof that any single culture, tradition, religion is the best. No matter what you learn in your Holy Book, no matter what Prophet, Guru, Enlightened individual you study, no matter which name of God you use, there is no absolute proof that yours is correct or not. I will assume that the reader has a faith and a tradition and an identity in religious matters which works for them and is for them the 100% truth and is, for themselves the absolute truth. That is great, that is wonderful. You are one human out of a population of over 6 billion souls. They will disagree with you to one point or another. |
