The Tithe
Matthew 17:27
He fished all night beneath
a sky too big to see and caught
not a thing until sunrise when he
cast his net starboard one last
time and snared one small fish.
Untangling it from the net, he
tucked a small coin into its mouth
and released it back into the sea.
