The Scriptures

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, the product of holy men who wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. (II Peter 1:20, 21)

The Godhead

We believe our God is one, yet manifested in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Man, his fall and redemption

Man is created in the image of God. Through Adam's transgression and fall, however, sin came into the world, therefore "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 5:12-21)

Forgiveness

If any believer sins, he has an Advocate with God the Father, Jesus Christ the Righteous, and, therefore, if he confesses his sin, God is faithful and just to forgive him and cleanse him of all unrighteousness. (I John 1:9)

Divine Healing

Healing is for the physical ills of the human body and is brought by the power of God through the laying on of hands and the prayer of faith. It is provided for in the atonement of Christ.

Eternal Life and the New Birth

Man's step toward the salvation is godly sorrow that works repentance. The new birth is necessary for all men, and, when fulfilled, produces eternal life. (John 3:3)

Water Baptism

Baptism in water is by immersion, and is a direct commandment of our Lord Jesus Christ. Baptism is for believers (those who accepted Jesus Christ as an act of personal faith) only. The ordinance of baptism is a symbol of the Christian's identification with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection. (Romans 6:4)

Baptism in the Holy Spirit

The baptism in the Holy Spirit is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to all believers, and is subsequent to the new birth. The experience is accompanied by the initial evidence of the speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit gives utterance. (Acts 2:4,38)

Sanctification

The Bible teaches us that without holiness no man can see God. We believe that sanctification is a definite, yet progressive, work of grace commencing and continuing until the consummation of salvation. (Philippians 1:6)

The Resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ

Christ did truly rise from the dead and ascended into heaven and is seated at the Father's right hand where He ever lives to make intercession for all believers. (Acts 1:9-11, Hebrews 7:25)

Resurrection of the Just and the return of the Lord.

The Lord Jesus Christ will return to the earth, and His coming is imminent. When He comes, the dead in Christ shall rise first, then those who are alive shall be caught up together with them to meet the Lord in the air. (I Thessalonians 4:15-17)

Hell and Retribution

The one who physically dies in his sin without Christ is hopelessly lost in the Lake of Fire. The Lake of Fire is a literal place. (Revelation 4:15-17)
