Dear Students,

This is your first online assignment:

The purpose of completing this profile is to get a feeling of community, and for me, to know the faces in the community. You can find my picture in the Photos Section, in the Yahoo Folder, or on my webpage.

Instructions to complete the Yahoo profile page

1. Go to your English for Architecture Yahoo Group.
2. Click on "Members", on the tool bar on your left, and look for your Yahoo ID, and click on it.
3. You will get to a page like this:

4. Click on "Edit Profile Information", and you will get to the following page, which looks like this one:

5. Write your real name, your age and gender. In "Occupation", write the trimester you are studying right now.
6. You may choose not to display your e-mail address on the profile. It is up to you.
7. Share your hobbies, and also tell us the name you like to be called (see picture C).

8. Under "Latest News" write a short paragraph about yourself. Your favorite subjects, how you decided to study architecture, etc.
9. A web link, if you have one, to your personal web site (you can have two or three such links if you like).
10. Save your cahnges (see picture B).
11. Go back to the previous page and post a picture of yourself, in "Edit Picture" (see picture A), you can complete this step later on. You can also post a picture in the Photos Section, in the "students" folder.
12. All the information you write for this course, on this page, can be later edited or deleted
13. The deadline for this activity is Monday, June 17.

After completing this activity, you should start doing the previewing exercises.
