Hey guys! im finally back after so long! gonna blog with vengence! Here's an update on the more interesting events..

8th October 2004, Friday

I could never imagine that i will ever win a pair of tix to watch Singapore Idol results show 'live'. I was one of the 10 lucky winners who sms the correct answer to the Morning Madness show. I was so super duper happy and i couldnt eat my lunch.. The day crawled.. can you imagine how slow the day pass.. and finally i'm at MediaCorp with Shermin! Thanx min, for accompanyin me! =)

The reception was crowded with the idol's family and friends. Spotted Sly's, Olinda's family. Kinda wierd cos min and I seemed to be the only 'pair' there.. the others were in large groups. Finally we were allowed into the theatre. The seats were kinda sucky. We were at the upper level and there's nothing much to see. Fortunately, we were later told to move to the bottom level. It seems like they let the idol's direct family and friends to settle down first before we (not related to any of the idols) get a seat. Anyway, i was pretty happy with my seat. The theatre is not as big as it seems on TV. Here's a pic of the theatre that i took secretly. Photos werent allowed.

Watching the show 'live' was so much fun. I had fun in screaming, cheering.. absorbing the electrifying atmosphere. Kinda cool to see the behind-the-scenes and of course, my eyes never left Sly.. hehehe.. Dream come true to see him in real person. But he's on stage, im in the audience. So near yet so far.. hahaha.. We were sitted behind Jerry's fans.. of all people!! I was screaming for Sly and some turned and looked at me. Whatever! bleah.. one of the overly 'enthu' fans even sang on stage before the show starts.. BOOO...

Sadly, David Yeo was eliminated! WTHell right.. sigh.. Chris cant even sing.. the only song he can sing is probably 'Your Song'.. haha.. not that i hate him, i kinda like him last time but i thought david deserves it more than him. This is something home viewers cant see.. david and some of the idols were crying.. sobz.. saw david's tears made me so emotional.. boohoo.. Min accompanied me to wait for the idols at the reception after the show. Im dying to get Sly's autograph and a picture with him! But david was the only person who came out pretty soon cos he had nothing to do with the competition anymore. The other idols seemed like they were held back. David was super nice.. and he looked extremely handsome face to face. TV and magazines sorta made him not so dashing.. hehehe.. min and I were practically swooning over his good looks. Took david's autograph and a picture with him. He asked for everyone's name so he could address them.. so nice right.. he obliged everyone who approached him.

Disappointing thing is.. i waited for the remaining idols till 11.30pm and none of them came out. I even overheard Sly's family discussing to have supper at Geylang before coming back to fetch him.. Why do they have to stay till so late!! sobz.. I was so tired and hungry and i went home.. Better luck tomorrow at Lime's Birthday Bash!

9th October 2004, Saturday

Went to Lime's Birthday Bash with people I know from the forum. All of us wanna see Sly! Whoopee!! Most of them were younger than me.. but there's a 21 yr old girl who used to be from SB! we got along pretty well! We reached there like one hour before the bash, by than there were already lotsa people, all wanting to see the idols!! soon, the bash started with some local bands jammin.. for one band, silence never felt so good! hahaha! think they are called 'Sold Outz' or whatever. Daniel and Jamie were the hosts. Daniel shouted out to the crowd 'Who thinks David shouldnt be eliminated yesterday?' The whole crowd went wild, including me.. seriously, he deserves it more than you-know-who. The party got heated up when Pug Jelly made an appearance. Kinda pity the band cos while they were still performing, the idols were standing by at the side stage waiting to go up. The whole crowd shifted their attention to the idols and started screaming and taking pics of them. No one gives a damm about Pug Jelly anymore. hahaha.. who cares! it was easy to spot Sly with this blonde hair! whoopee!!!

Finally they were on stage! yeah! Daniel introduced them one by one on stage meanwhile they throw tees and caps to the crowd. One of the idols threw a tee.. I looked up.. it's at my direction! its right above me! it's thrown especially for me! i caught it! hip hip hooray!!! and one stupid malay bitch snatched it from me. *takes gun and shoot the bitch* grrrrrrr... kinda pity jerry.. he was badly booed on stage.. someone even threw something at him. fortunately it didnt even reach the stage. Someone should lock the ill breed person in a deliquent's home! Could see Sly sorta comforting jerry when he put his arms over jerry's shoulder. Each idol was asked to sing for like 10 secs. Sly sang 'when i looked into your eyes'. I was so busy taking pics that i forgot my cam has a video recording function. I was super pissed with myself for forgetting that, if not i could have his video. grrr.. autograph session time!! stupid organisers only allocated 15 mins! where got enough time!! and i didnt get Sly's autograph 2 days in a row!!

Getting the 8 idols autographs were 1st prize, getting Sly's autograph was my super first priority, but sadly luck was not on our side. But we got second prize!! we met Jeassea, Benjamin Eio (used to be from local boyband EchoBoys), Andy Josh, Hazaid, Nathaniel Ho, Imelda Teo and Shirin together! They were mobbed by the SI fans there. Got their autographs and pics. Spoke with Benjamin and he was from SP too.. When i was in year 1, he's in year 3! My fav pic is the one taken with Benjamin again! Both of us looked so good together when i zoomed into our faces only!! kinda compatible!! hahaha.. thick skin.. but this pic is not the 'zoomed' one..

Today's the last day of school.. feels kinda shiok. haha.. but the break is for studying.. sobz.. I remembered in year 2, chelle and i said that we will do something crazy on the last day.. like 'taking' a cup of drink from the drink stall without paying.

Michelle.. i've got something to tell you.. I did that without you!! hahaha.. I had a FOC coke today! hahahaha.. bad right.. never wait for you, my partner in crime.. hahaha.. I wanted to pay, even had the money in my hand. But i kinda got sick of the queue and by then lynn and jaclyn paid for their drinks.. i walked off with them. haha.. and no.. im not even the least guilty. It's only 45 cents.. not even enough to vote for Sly. hahaha.. whatever.. maybe cos i was having PMS and i wasnt functioning well. Lynn and Jac were like 'YOU AH!!!! !@#$%'.. aiyah.. whatever.. Wilson was more relaxed.. haha..

Watched Singapore Idol results.. their group disco was great, esp Sly doing the rocker thing.. But golly shit, Sly went to the bottom 3! Chrissypoo scraped through! dammit! I was screaming in the room.. NOOOOOOOOO... THAT CANT BE TRUE!! SLY.. sob sobz..
i was turning hysterical sooner or later.. i was rolling around my parent's bed with a pillow on my face.. Thank GOD! SLY was sent back to safety!!!

Pearl Lin and Lynn msged me, expressing their happiness Jerry was out finally. Frankly, i think Jerry is a nice guy.. I like his 'niceness' but i cant stand the fact he's still in the competition for so long. At least now he got eliminated.. there's more room for talent for the remaining idols.. hahaha!!

Firstly, a very BIG HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY TO SHERMIN!! *CLAP CLAP CLAP* *CHEERS*

Today I was at my little cousin's - Sachi, birthday party. His birthday was on Monday actually, but the celebration was carried forward. As expected, my aunt invited lots of her friends and their kids, basically the whole family and their maids. I saw all of them quite a couple of times.. whenever my aunt holds a party, its always the same people.. even the maids of each family knew the other maids well and even knew all the kids' names. kinda amazing to me. As usual, i expected Joe Augustine to turn up. (ex power 98 DJ). Saw his wife and kids again.. the kids looked like a replica of him, especially the eldest daughter -Megan. Cool name right? she's gonna grow up to be a pretty girl with all the nice features she's blessed with. blah blah.. everyone there is so sociable, dont know you still greet you and make small talk. Guess that's the kind of life they have? the adults will sit at the compound and drink wine.

ok, back to Joe Augustine.. think in Friday's newspaper, he was one of the 3 to say MY SLY will be voted out this week. So when i saw him at the party, i felt the urge to wallop him! hahahaha.. kiddin.. no, i should kidnap his youngest daughter! aiyah.. whatever, the feeling is jus wierd unlike our previous meeting where i jus heck care him. He once came up to me and said 'Are you from Kuan's (my aunt) family? cos you all have the 'look'.. whatever.. im gonna banish you.. hope my aunt wont see this.. hahaha

His youngest daughter -dunno what's her name.. she's damm funny.. she was wearin a dress. when she's gonna take a seat, she will lift her skirt up and gently sit down.. like machiam she's a princess!! hahahaha!!! me and another aunt saw that and kept laughing! all the kids were kinda funny.. wished i brought a cam to show you guys the action. The place was super packed and noisy.. than the 'princess' cried cos some boys scolded her. she wailed.. hahaha.. and Joe and his wife appear from the compound within a split second and asked 'Is that ours?'

hahahaha!!! damm funny.. 'Is that ours..'

I was very amused that they could instantly recognised that the wailing was theirs from the outside. Anyway, great food, great entertainment value by lookin at the kids with their silly/stupid or whatever behaviour!

3.27am. Wanted to study FO till late, but im super stuck with options! what the hell is options anyway! What short put, long put, short call, long call! Cant people make them simple.. if they're neither long or short.. why cant we jus call them retarded put and retarded call! Ok, i'm not sure what im saying here too.. hahaha..

Am chatting with our dear jourdan who is in UK now. He's coming back on the 5th of nov! Wilson is taking a short break from studyin for his paper tomorrow. me.. blogging and hanging around the forum.

A little bit of tuesday's event.. Watched Extreme Gourmet. Loved this show and never miss a single episode i tell ya! Today damm funny! that lum may yee so yaya papaya.. was served this 'long' dish.. she gladly thought it was ox's tail. after taking her first bite.. someone finally told her it was bull's penis! wahahah!! oh man.. i was laughing like mad!! and there she was saying, how can a penis be that long! hahaha.. and the guest star, name kelvin or whatever. Kelvin was already super grossed out cos he was served bull's testicles.. he said 'I cant believe im eating sperms!' oh man.. the funniest part is.. he found the ox's public hair on his plate together with the testicles! wahahaha!!! laughed the loudest there! serves him right for being super yaya and act so macho in the previous episode. Guess those who watched will know!

I LOVED NEWSROOM BAR YA KNOW! I MISSED GOING TO ZOUK AND MY FRIENDS WHO WENT THERE GOT SLY'S AUTOGRAPH AND PIC! MY FRIEND EVEN GOT TO DANCE WITH THE IDOLS COS SHIRIN PULLED HIM IN! *BISH* AND HE TOLD ME THE IDOLS WERE SIMPLY WALKING AROUND LIKE NORMAL PEOPLE.. SO SLY IS LIKE SO NEAR TO YOU. MY FRIEND WAS STANDING BESIDE SLY!! SIGH SIGH.. EVEN SHOOK HANDS WITH SLY! SOBZ.. IM SO MAD!!! ARGH!! DAMM THE EXAMS!

haha! today was the stupid FO paper. Stupid like shit! wont comment much on it~ Went to Suntec and watched White Chicks with Chelle! That ger lar! at first say go Bugis collect something.. walk around for a while and go home. In the end.. that Lynn la!!! told us about White Chicks.. tempt Chelle to watch and she in turn tempted me to watch also!! You people see what kind of friends i've got? HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! kidding guys! chelle and i are both tempted to watch! Maybe we can blame Lynn together for this. Alright! kidding pple!

About the movie.. it's a good movie.. funny.. not a single moment of 'boringness'. Exams are here.. should destress! hehehe.. excuses ya? 'thousand miles' by michelle branch will be stuck in your head if u were to catch the show! hahaha!! what a faggot that guy turn out to be! hehehe.. oh well, you guys have to catch the show if you haven't! *peace*

1.30pm Decided to blog away my sleepiness before studying CF. Can anyone believe it? CF is on Wednesday and i have not even started! hehe.. i was studying TA instead, so i could go to Newsroom Bar on the 4th! bleah! and guess what? Im going for the Singapore Idol 'live' on this coming Thursday! WOOHOO!! finally a chance to watch their performances! And im going with friends from the forum. One of them had 10 tix so we're going together! hehe.. cool people! Coming theme is 'Big Band' yikes! how is Sly gonna handle musical? actually we all think he cant get thru his coming week.. bad feeling.. sobz.. maybe cos of Sly-Maia fiasco! Whatever.. if he 'suay suay' *touch wood* got voted off this week, at least i got to see him! hehehe.. Gotta study extra hard!!!

11.53am feel kinda sleepy actually. went to Bedok platform to meet chelle, took CF tutorial that was missing. I suspected i lent it to Jaiyme and she didnt return me and I forgot all about it!

hehe.. oh well.. so i had to dig myself out of bed. It was raining early in the morning and it was great for sleeping! Chelle was so nice!! bought me Strawberry Roll from Polar.. so touching!

Chelle: your roll was the greatest gift to me ever. Cos there's nothing for me to eat at home and your roll eased my hunger. Next time can buy a bigger one for me? HAHAHAHA... kidding ya! =)

12.08pm Hey guys!! had a wonderful, exciting, great, fabulous time last night at Singapore Idol 'live'!! WOOOooooooooooohooooooo!!!!

Finally, I GOT SYLVESTER'S AUTOGRAPH ON MY POSTER, CD.. AND ERRMMM.. HP! WAHAHAHAHA... AND PHOTOS WITH HIM!!!

though now is the day after the fun.. i'll still feelin so happy.. feels like im floating.. lalala~

Recap:
Was there with some younger kids, feel kinda old with them! they were super duper madder than me.. probably is the age difference.. we older people.. erm.. support silently.. haha.. hey, got image to keep one ok! luckily bump into some 'older' people i know.. early 20's.. jus startin out working.. hehe.. so among them i'll be the youngest.. and they are a great bunch to hang out with!

we realized that there's 2 types of admission tickets. One is with a punched hole, the other without. Luckily we got the one without the punched hole.. those with it.. had to sit at the top part of the theatre.. we occupied one row.. those younger kids i was with.. tell ya how mad they are.. on wednesday.. they met up at PS and did a HUGE banner for Sly at the open area outside Mac. The banner is super long.. it stretched from the end of the row to the other side. Since im sitted with them.. and i got my tix thru one of them.. i had to hold on to the banner too.. -_-|||
i wasnt so enthu about the banner thingy. anyway it wasnt caught on tv.

oh ya.. when the studio people were leadin us to the theatre.. we spotted Olinda at some corridor and WOWEEE!!! I LOVE HER HAIR... PURPLE!!! I WANT TO DYE THAT COLOR.. and her bangs were.. i think ash or grey.. what a cool combi!
Finally we were 'live!' hmm.. although the audience is much bigger than the results show i went to last time.. it seems quieter.. probably cos the results show need more screaming to cheer for the idols.

First up on stage, Chrissypoo! cant remember his performance. I can concentrate better while watching it on TV. Even for Sly's performance.. a bit distracted.. cos i was lookin at him on tv and stage.. haha.. back to Chris.. hmm.. prob a bit bland.. can do better.. hope he gets eliminated tonight.

2nd... Oli Oli Oli!! i watched her video.. it was so funny.. all her neighbours esp the 2 kids keep chanting her name.. also showed the famous katong laksa seller cheerin for her.. hahaha! Oli sang 'Fever' and she sounded so sultry..at least she caught my attention unlike Chris. Oli.. perfect as usual!

3rd.. Mr Versatile.. Taufik! woooohoo.. i like him too!! Saw the part where he did this improtu thing with the mic stand.. OH MY GOD!! SO COOL!! he's so smooooooooth...

4th.. Daphne!! yuppie, i like her so much after meetin her after show.. ok more on that later.. she's cute, so hot.. got a great presence in stage... oh ya.. she better listen to Dick.. dont stand till her legs so far apart.. ahaha! didnt really realized that though.. but probably she had to do that so she can sing better.. standin positions affects singing right? no..? =) I like her song! and at least it's sth i heard before besides 'fever' by Oli.

5th.. Leandra...always with her bouncing moves.. wonder it makes people seasick before? hehe.. and she's back her usual self. for her past performances since Disco.. she kinda 'deprove' *if there's such a word* her song.. 'Lulaby @ broadway' or something like that? Lulaby.. lullaby? lullabye? aiya.. i dont know how to spell! pardon me!

6th.. EVERYONE SCREAM!!!!!!!!!!!! IT'S SYVESTER!!! YEAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! looked great in that white outfit! so suave so good looking.. kinda mysterious too!!! I LOVE HIM!! he sang 'the way you looked tonight' i think i heard of the song before! I tell ya.. i had goosebumps when he started singing cos HE WAS SO GOOD!!! when he belted out his first few lines.. i felt myself melting.. the same feelin when i first watched him performing 'When i looked into your eyes'. I thought he's gonna screwed up tonight's theme like what happened to Disco.. but he nailed it!! He sounded sooooo romantic... *swoon swoon swoon* drooling already! and his performance had to end so fast! HMPH! the producers should give him more singing time! hahaha.. and he waved to us!! WAHHHHH.... i can faint!!!!! and i can keep going on and on talking about him.. oh no, i blogged so much on him compared to the other 5.. oh well.. that's life.. i like him more! YAY! im so bias!

The show ended! people were slowly makin their way out to the reception.. we stayed for a little while.. took some photos of the 6 who were so stage.. kinda blur.. cos i was behind and idols were moving.. when we left the theatre.. i saw Jerry Ong! he was at one corner taking a pic with someone. I dont mind him actually.. but i was blur for a moment and walked off. hehe.. the reception was crowded.. before they came out.. we were watching this swimming drama show on Channel 8. Toro ran after Fiona in the bus.. He stops cos he cant catch up.. Fiona got down the bus.. YAWN... so typical.. zzz.. as im typin my blog.. I'VE FINALLY & SUCCESSFULLY DOWNLOADED SLY'S PERFORMANCE LAST NIGHT! YIPPIE!!

1.55pm: im back from watching Sly's latest video!! woohoo!! it's good, it's great.. so memerizing.. it's even better than his wildcard performance! you know.. i felt so touched with the way he delivered the song.. i felt so teary..... WAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! MARRY ME SLY!! hahaha..

ok back to the reception.. we were lucky today!! they came out pretty fast. First was Olinda, followed by Leandra & Daphne together, Chris, Taufik.. and Sly was the last to come out, around 10 plus! everyone mobbed Sly! hahaha.. i waited for the rest to get theirs first.. cos i was thinking when eveyone went home.. Sly will be with us! and it really was! Left the few of us.. Sly is so near.. so close.. woohooo.. He's so skinny!! tall and skinny.. kinda fit my description for getting a boyfriend. hahaha!! did i mention his hand is sooooo soft... and there's this cute little boy.. bought coke for him.. Sly asked 'You want me to sign on your can?' hehehehe... so cute.. in the end when he realized the kid bought it for him to drink.. he was nice to say.. 'You drink first'.. awww... after that he took a sip! and that little boy.. so happy.. wahahah.. probably i should have done the same thing also.. haha.. Sly was kinda poor thing.. girls were pushing and i heard him said 'I'm falling!' haha.. the over-obsessed girls will give him tissue to wipe his sweat and fan him. He was also moving around in a 360 degrees turn while giving autographs.. haha.. had around 50 plus snaps of Sly.. thank god for Wilson's huge memory card.. some people ran out of it.. wahaha.. tough luck! i simply took lotsa lotsa pic.. but i deleted them and ended up with that 50. hehe.. finally got his autograph.. I WAS SO HAPPY! finally after so long... wahahaha.. when we took photos.. he put his arms around my shoulder.. Wahhhhhhhhhh.. melting! im melting!!!! oh ya.. i saw his dad.. he smiled at me!! was he thinking that i might be the perfect daughter in law for him? hahaha!! kidding! and when sly left.. it's only the few of us in the whole reception.. he said bye to us! hehe.. ok.. i didnt shake his hands or hug him.. kinda scared? wahaha.. but i shook Oli's hands!! hehe..

and i've learnt that compared to the other people.. im actually soooo soft and gentle.. dont know if im stupid or not agressive enough.. whenever im near to the idols.. they always cut my place.. or i get pushed out. aiyah!! im a first timer when it comes to this! But i've learnt something better.. that is to be the last few to get the autographs.. you get a more personal experience with them.. hehehe..

ok maybe i'll talk abit on the other 5 idols. I like Daphne! She's got a great personality.. so bubbly.. approachable.. the way she greeted you will brighten up your day i tell ya!! she's petite.. she's pretty too! Oh and Olinda!! I love her Adidas jacket! hehehe.. she wore the jacket over a low-cut top.. who says she's not feminine! I love her purple hair too!!! and yesterday while chatting with Jourdan.. he told me that everyone in her family are great singers! Jourdan is friends with Oli's bro! and that HK actess Zhu Mi Mi.. is that her name.. starring in 'Like my own' now.. she was there too.. some kids who were with her wanna take pics with Oli but there were too many people. She went to Oli and asked her to take a pic with the kids first! like.. using her 'stardom'.. geezz.. wo3 qiao2 bu4 qi2 ni3! Leandra.. hmm.. sensing a bit of diva feeling.. maybe im thinkin too much.. probably thats her personality.. she's bubbly too! and Chris.. i think he loves posing for photos more than giving autographs.. haha.. not sure.. prob im thinkin too much.. but he looked great on TV and pics.. he's cute.. kinda ok la.. and lastly Taufik!! he's really cool.. friendly! he chatted with his fans.. like real chit chat.. so down to earth.. he was the last to leave the reception after Sly.. (busy talkin to fans.. cool guy ya?) and he said bye to us! hehe.. so nice...

Only a few hours of Singapore Idol fever.. i've used up 2 batteries.. oopss.. thank god for extra battery.. when Sly showed up.. i finished one battery.. and i quickly changed it.. heheh.. last night i was telling Wilson about my idol fever.. he totally washed his hands off me when it comes to singapore idol. He knows im a total freak for Sly.. I have tickets for tonight's result show too.. but i decided not to go.. better study ya!! plus what more can i ask for, i finally get to see Sly and got what i wanted! But Wilson saw thru me and said..

Wilson: You better have determination! If not your 'idol' friends just say say.. and than you happy happy follow them.

Darn.. let him say till like that.. better stay home lor!

Elizabeth: no no.. i'll will stay at home to study. I've already got what i wanted.. after exams i still have chances to see him..

Wilson: By the time your exam finishes.. 'the who' out already liao loh...

you see la! the sarcasm he has! doesnt even want to mention Sly's name! 'The who', 'the who'.. hmph!! jealous lah.. hahaha..

Elizabeth: Dont say that.. if he's out.. i'll be so sad.. i'll cry!!!
