Image 1.- This is the funeral car which was used for the Jefferson Davis memorial funeral held on May 31, 1893 in Raleigh. The laborate car is shown parked on Edenton Street next to a building which formerly housed the State Library and Supreme Court (It still exists today as the present Labor Building across from the Capitol)
