smile

When bonded friends must part
The loss of love, the dashing of
dreams
The hopes that we had, not a few
The wonderful times, the devotion
shared
The moments, life found anew
Gone in a moment, lost in our
tears
Absent that wonderful touch
How to survive so great a loss
Of the one we loved so much
But time passes on and days come
and go
And we are not left without
Memories that touch us, time after
time
And leave a warm glow about
The days filled with love,
adventure and fun
The warm, calm peace at day's end
I would not have had it, it would
