Andy Wronko

Height:  6'7"

Weight:  205

Andy Wronko made his HSFL debut during the 1998 season and has played every season since.  Standing at 6'7", Wronko is by far the tallest player to ever play for the HSFL.  Being as tall as Wronko is, you can imagine that he isn't the most fleet of foot person in the world and early in his career, his hands were subpar as well, add that to arguements on the field with team mates and off the field with the league front office, Wronko had several dismal seasons to begin his HSFL career and was almost released during the 1999 season.  In the middle of the 2000 season, Wronko toyed with the idea of becoming an official.  After working a few games, Wronko decided that officiating wasn't for him and returned to the field. Much to the surprise of the league, it wasn't the same Andy Wronko we were used to seeing.  All of a sudden, Wronko took the game more seriously and became more of a consistent contributer on the field, and also recorded his first ever HSFL touchdown in 3 seasons.  Wronko was brought back for the 2001 season playing in the
week 1 exhibition catching two touchdowns.  Wronko couldn't make it to the regular season opener due to personal issues, but the HSFL is looking forward to seeing what he can do with a full season at his new level.  Unfortunately, we may never get that chance as Wronko's future is in doubt after walking out during a game.  It appears as though Wronko may have hurt his stock beyond the point where either team will take a chance on him.  He has not been contacted by the league since he stopped playing in 2001, and many are doubting whether or not we will ever see Wronko on the Glover Bowl again.
