Jeff Renn

Height:  6'3"

Weight:  190

Jeff Renn is one of the Hobart Sandlot Football League's  founding fathers.  He has played in each of the league's five seasons and is one of the greatest all around players ever.  One of the biggest players in HSFL history, Renn started his career as a quarterback.  He switched to running back for a time which is where he gets his nick name "Train" for his ability to run through defenders.  His shear size makes him a force on the defensive side of the ball as well.  He can lay out a hit with the best of them.  Renn's knowledge and play calling may be second only to
Mike Arana, but is still a football genius.  Renn now splits time between quarter back and the back field, and hasn't lost a step despite sitting out the better part of the 2000 season while pursuing his basketball career.  Renn has looked sharp in 2001, becoming once again the most dominant power runner in the game as his reps at quarterback have decreased.  Rumors have been circulating all season that Renn may call it quits at any given moment, and who knows if, or when, he will, but as long as he continues to play, he will be one of the league's best.
