My Hippy Era --  1967-1969

Most of my serious efforts were spent fighting my draft board with appeals and hearings for my refusal to be drafted into the military.  I moved to the mountains, made leather clothes, did all sorts of odd jobs.  I also married a very beautiful, intelligent and hip young lady.  Finally, I did get my "Concientous Objector" status from the Draft System.  That status required me to do 2 years of approved public service.
