30/12/00- I'm going to a New Years Eve party tomorrow and I fear that (yet again) I won't be able to complete my Red Dwarf page in time. I've decided to put the opening date back to the 15/01/01. On a brighter note, I have expanded my top movies and top games pages and I have made a few tweaks to the index page. I have also created a couple of new pages where you can see an up to date list of my movies and games collection. 26/12/00- Christmas is over for another year and I look forward to things calming down a bit or maybe i'll have to wait till after the New Years party i'm going to for that! Anywho...I've uploaded a couple more midi files and added the kicking tune 'Zombie Nation' to my index page (I cut the length of the tune a bit in order that it suited my page a bit better - you can find the full length tune on my midi page under the section 'Music Midi'). 14/12/00- As it gets closer to Christmas things are getting more busy! I've found some time to work on my Red Dwarf page and I have also uploaded a few new midi files. 18/11/00- In the run up to Christmas things have been a bit hectic at both college and work and as a result there have been a lack of updates on my website. I'm afraid that I failed to meet the deadline on my Red Dwarf page and have had to move the grand opening date to 1/1/01. However, I will ensure that it is ready for the date this time! *UPDATE (30/12/00) - I managed to miss this date :)* 17/10/00- Yet more general tweeks have been made to the site but the big news is that i've totally redone the Red Dwarf section of my site (redone as in there is now more then one page and a lot more information)! At the time of writing the new Red Dwarf section isn't finished but you can still take a peak at it! The grand opening date for this new Red Dwarf section is 31/10/00...looks like i've got my work cut out for me! 15/10/00- I have made a few general tweaks to the site (getting rid of those 'garish' backgrounds). I have also uploaded a few more cowtipping strips (I actually drew them last year but I only just got off my ass and uploaded them from my old computer). 14/10/00 - I have uploaded a couple of articles taken from two UK game magazines: PC GAMER- A screen shot from the PC game 'Motocross Madness 2' that I took appeared in the Autumn 2000 edition of PC Gamer. You can view a scan of the page here. CVG- Issue 228 of the popular multi-format game magazine 'Computer and Video Games' listed my website as one of the better fan sites around! You can view the page here. CVG did note that some of my backgrounds were a bit 'garish'. I have already started to address this problem. I have also updated the index page. I have made it so that when you pass the mouse over any of the links the buttons change colour! 08/10/00- I gave the 'Monkey Island 4' demo a go today and I liked it! The 3D game engine stops the game from being nearly as good as the 3rd game but I was expecting that anyway! I found a cheap copy of the new Blair Witch game (Volume 1: Rustin Parr) and so brought it. The game is the first ever PC game to come in the new style DVD cases (giving me some much needed storage space)! I also got a copy of the 'Roller Coaster Tycoon' addon pack 'Loopy Landscapes' because it features Alton Towers as one of the parks (the theme park I visited yesterday)! 07/10/00- I had a very busy day today! I had to get up at 5:30am to go to 'Alton Towers' (the biggest and best theme park in the whole UK). It was a 4 hour drive there (meaning that there was a grand total of 8 hours driving) but once there it was worth it! The rides were mostly very good (so good your lunch nearly leaves your body) and even the rubbish rides were worth it for having a good laugh at! When I returned home at 9:30pm I decided to download the 'Monkey Island 4' demo (120MB)...I started downloading and went to sleep, once I woke up the next morning the download was complete! 06/10/00- A guest of my website named 'Toonces' advised me that I might like to use fewer different graphic styles on my different pages (you can see this message in the guestbook)! I looked at my site and realised that I didn't have one consistent style throughout my site so I'm going to try and use the 'black swirl' background your looking at now on most of my pages and also i'm using the 'fire' style text for my logos (e.g. the 'News' title on this page). Anywho, thankyou 'Toonces', you have shown me the light! :) In other news: MONKEY ISLAND 4 DEMO- The demo for the 4th Monkey Island game ('Escape From Monkey Island') was released today but the complete install comes in at a whooping 120MB so I am going to wait for a CD cover demo! I'll let everyone know what I think of it when I get it. EVIL DEAD 4- The fantastic movie website 'Cinescape' has posted part of an interview with 'Evil Dead' director Sam Raimi. Sam was asked (for what seems like the 100th time now) if there would ever be an Evil Dead 4! Sam replied that he is not sure if there is enough demand for a 4th Evil Dead movie and also that he would only make one if he felt inspired to and had a really good idea (he doesn't want to produce some cheap crappy knock off Evil Dead movie). I say good for him but I'm sure that there is a market for a 4th Evil Dead movie (doesn't this guy get a ton of fan mail every day and if not, why not?). EVIL DEAD THE GAME- While i'm on the subject of Evil Dead I may as well mention that the Evil Dead video game 'Evil Dead: Hail to the King' will be released early next month! Personally I can't wait but I'm a little bit worried that the game won't be that good...time will tell! 05/10/00- I uploaded 6 new midi files. I also made some minor changes to several of my pages. 04/10/00- I have made a few general tweeks to the site. I have also removed the link to the poll page on the main page because it doesn't seem to be working for some reason! |
