BIOGRAPHY

I am 35 and I work as a researcher in Human Genetics in Strasbourg (France).
I came to photography through my holidays travels. My special focus is thus on photo travel, including people, landscape and journalism. My interest in photography is to capture or create an emotion or a feeling of a place and a time.
I joined PSA in 1994. I participate in PSA and FIAP sponsored international exhibitions; this helps me a lot to improve my pictures and I have received the usual distinctions (PPSA, AFIAP, ER.ISF, PSA CS3*,ND2*,PJ3*,PT4*). I won the Travelette competition in 1998 and was Photojournalism of the year 1999.
I now use Canon cameras and lenses and for my electronic work I scan my slides (Fuji Velvia 50) with a Nikon Coolscan 4000. I have a PC Pentium III 1.7 GHz with 90 Go and 512 Mo RAM and use Photoshop 7.0.
