A WebRing
for GARVEY, GARVIE, McGARVEY & Other Variations
Welcome to the Garvey WebRing. If you have a homepage with the GARVEY surname or one of its variations, than this is the ring to join. With the World Wide Web ever growing, this ring will provide a means for all of us Garvey researchers to be united.
I’m sure many of you have cruised the web and came across pages that belonged to various rings. It is one of the best ways to find people with common interests, in this case, the GARVEY surname. For those of you unfamiliar with the concept of Web Rings, a code is placed on your website, so that you can surf from one related website (ie Garvey genealogy) to the next
So if you have a site for GARVEY, GARVIE, McGARVEY, or another variation, take the time to scroll through & apply.
There are just a few criteria to join the Garvey WebRing:
1. Your site must contain Garvey genealogy. It could be a brief summary or it can be a site extensively devoted to the Garvey name. If there is no mention of a Garvey relative, your site won’t be approved.
2. You must place the navigation code on the page you submit. I prefer the Java code, as only the ring currently being navigated will be shown along with a link to the rest of the Webrings that site belongs to on WebRing.com. However, if you prefer the old school, an HTML code is also provided as an alternative to the Java script.
3. No member only sites, if a password is needed, we can’t get in.
4. and ABSOLUTELY NO Adult Sites, we are a family oriented ring.
