Quinnipiac University
That show was so much fun a Q.U.  Everything went well, and we even saw a guest appearance from Dispatch's Brad Corrigan.  Such a cool show, cant wait to hear the CD from it, Very professional job done by the folks ay Q.U.  It was great to hear some of my fav tunes played in a whole new light.  And hearing them unplugged in a totally unforgiving environment really accintuates the Trailers musical talent.  Some highlights were Long Fall into Fire on The Ponchatraine with Brad Corrigan on harp.  Personally I felt that Sitting on Top of the World, Where Are We Know, and Red Neck Girl came out astounding.

Irving Plaza, NYC
Imagine if you will, Irving Plaza with a decent size crowd, the video screen down, and the people starting to get restless...then without warning the screen comes up and out comes the first notes of...AVERLY JANE!!!!  Well that's how the NYC show with VACO started last night.  There was no Paradise City tease, but none was needed because the crowd was already into the Trailers from the first note...and to help matters they followed this incredible opener with SABOTAGE, talk about a one-two combo.  So to say the least the trailers we're f-ing on last night.  And for all you Paradise City fans don't worry because they busted out that cover too.  Some other highlights included Pete on Family Reunion, and a backup vocalist (i think her name was Stacy) on the Battery, which completely made that song.  And our old friend Sean Ryan on second guitar for the set closing, breathtaking NYC.  Ryder summed it up nicely last night when he said, "We felt it tonight, it was on from the first note, it just seems to happen in NYC."  So if you missed this show you better be ready for the Lion's Den come June because that show is going to rock the whole island!

Dartmouth College, NH
The Dartmouth show was absolutely incredible!  I had been at the Philly 4/6 show, and seen the unbelievable energy there, and knew Fri. night in NYC was pretty incredible, but I had no idea what to expect with them playing here.  I was talking to the guys before they started playing and they were just so pumped to be in New Hampshire after the city, and didn't care how many people were in the crowd---they were just so psyched to play.  It was obvious throughout the ENTIRE show, the energy did not let down, and every person who stepped into the room immediately was hooked.  It was the best to watch...it became more and more packed and people were going nuts and jumping over each other to get the cd's.  Everyone was going wild!!  The sets were unbelievable, everyone loved the sick whipping post cover and people were going crazy when Stokes brought up Willie Nelson and then they busted out in whiskey river.  Horse was incredible----they had everyone in the room jumping and going wild.  The 3 song encore ended in Averly which turned into a random freebird---where at that point every single person in the room went INSANE---and back to Averly.  It was absolutely flyin x 56782134!!  I will be at the next show I can get myself to!!  Here's to an AMAZING night!

The Electric Factory, Philly
Ryder tore the roof off of the E-factory with the vocals, and Stokes was possessed by the Spirit of Rock and Roll itself, complete with menacing look, aggressive guitar, and a stage dive to end all stage dives crossing the five foot gap between the rail and the stage, and somehow keeping his guitar (still plugged in!!!) in the air so it stays safe. That's what it's all about...loving your guitar more than your body.

Nashville, TN
The show was fantastic last night. I don't know if it was the packed bar or the 6'x6' stage, but rock n roll was in the air.  The boys played a benefit for "Deeg" Sezna, a worker in the WTC on 9/11 and a great friend to those who knew him. I know he was rockin' to the show from a different view, and I know he enjoyed it as we did.  Just to let y'all non-Nashvillians know, Seanachie's rocked harder than ever last night. It had been a while since I'd seen LT's, but I had fun.

March7 & 8, 2002: House of Blues/Barrington, Chicago
Hey it was great to meet the trailers, and I want to thank them for two of the best nights of music I've ever had. Those guys were did an awesome opening for Vaco at the House of Blues. They were right on and their playing was perfect. They lighted up that church basement like nothing I've ever seen. There might not have been a ton of fans (boy will that change) but everyone there was going crazy. Excellent job on the Allman Brothers cover of Whipping post. That was great to hear.

I was at the Barrington show, and it was awesome. The Lost Trailers played an amazing show. The opening band really got the place jumping too. The place was small, but that only enhanced the experience. Definitely cant wait for the Trailers to come back.

February 18, 2002: House of Blues, Boston
Yes, Boston.  Where the Trailer was stolen almost three months ago to the day.  Boston, where it is very easy to get lost for 2 hours driving in circles.  Boston, where the Trailers put on one of the best concerts possible.  They had about the same energy as NYC, and the music was parallel to Great Barrington.  It has been over 18 hours since the concert ended and I still can't describe it.  I'm still speechless.  The energy that was flowing through that room was incredible.  Everybody in that crowd was into the show...I had a hard time controlling myself at the merch booth.  Hell who would be able to control themselves...Opener = Birds in Boston, Braddigan jamming on 5 songs, Averly -> Paradise -> Averly, Covers and teases left and right, the reaction on Stokes face when he looked out to a packed crowd just grooving, the 5 song encore, it was incredible.  The show was sold out and yet the HOB still let 40 more people inside...and those are probably the 40 luckiest people.  Some specific highlights  stood out in particular.  For instance hearing an incredible double guitar jam on Landmark (courtesy of Brad Corrigan), the way the crowd was just off the wall during the fast part of paradise city, then the way the crowd would listen intensely to the words of Where are We Now.  This concert was one of the record books.  It was an perfect way to end the Northeast part of the tour.  And next time the Trailers come around everybody better get their tickets early because it'll be a show you don't want to miss.

February 16, 2002: TLA, Philly
It all started with an impromptu road trip down to Philly to see the Trailers open for VACO. Now the Trailers only got to play for about 35 minutes, but it was during those 35 minutes that something incredible happened. The Trailers rolled in with a nice crew for the Philly show but in reality we only made up about 1/10th of the crowd. Well that quickly changed. As the opener progressed more and more people in the audience started getting into the Trailer groove. Then when the they hit the first notes of Paradise City the crowd erupted. Standing with Pat and Stokes at the Merch booth after the show and watching fan after fan come up and say how much they loved the set and ask questions about up coming shows was one of the best sights ever.

February 8, 2002: The Lions Den, NYC
Hell ya.  Whipping Post did it for me. Thanks so much. I thought you guys really pulled off the jam. It sounded really ABBish...especially with the bass turned up. Spades was another highlight for me. It was just a really pretty moment and watching people sing, just really pretty. It was good seeing you guys live. You did far more jamming then I expected. It was good seeing everyone dancing and singing to Averly and LongFall. Those seemed like high points for me. Thanks for such a great show and such a great party. Come back to NYC soon and we'll show u a good time, but just hold on to you wallet...cause you never know...

My God what a weekend of music. NYC was absolutely insane.  Friday night definitely stands out as one of the best concerts I've ever experienced. So a few highlights...1) Looking out at the crowd from in front of the stage and seeing a full room of people getting down with the Trailers.  2) Longfall followed by Spades with Brad just incredible 3) Whipping Post where if I closed my eyes at the right time it sounded like the Allmans  4) Matthew Ryder Lee just groovin on the keys solo at the end of the set...damn that boy is good! 5) A five song encore....  As you can see I could go on and on and on about this show, but I gotta save some energy bc next week it's Philly and Boston!!!
