"A time and times and the dividing of time," Dan. 7:25, Aramaic: `iddan, a time, a woman’s period (menstrual cycle, impurity). Forty-two months, Rev 11 & 13, (Greek "men" or month. As in "menstrual" or "menopause," impurity).
In Dan. 7 the saints are given into his hand for "a time and times and the dividing of time," UNTIL the Ancient of Days sits in judgment. This judgment happens in Rev. Ch. 8 at the Seventh Seal when "the books are opened." Then comes the 1260 Days. Dan. Ch. 12 uses "mow'ed" (appointed time/feast day) for "a time, times, and a half." THIS IS DIFFERENT!
This confusion has been prevalent for the last 2000 years. The first beast of Rev. Ch. 13 is given power to "act" for 42 "menstrual cycles," each of which is a 28 day period:
42 x 28 = 1176 Days. The first beast destroys the holy people for this time period, UNTIL the judgment is seated at the Seventh Seal when the "books are opened." Thus Esther, (the church,) comes before the King in the throne room in Rev. Ch. 8 and the King lowers the golden scepter/censer to her and she is accepted. The King hears her petition and the prayers of ALL the saints, (Rev. 8:4).

9. I beheld till the thrones were cast (set), and the ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.

Note: The multitude of Rev. 7:9-17 is "a great multitude, which no man could number." These are ones that Yeshua will shepherd once they are in heaven according to the text. Why, and how, did they not have a shepherd here on earth? These hunger and thirst for the knowledge of G-d and were never fed that knowledge here on earth. These passed through "great tribulation" but there is no mention of "the word of their testimony." The sunlight has never touched upon them and it never will, nor any kind of heat (what is the first thing one teaches a child not to touch?) for they are before the throne of G-d, and serve him day and night in his temple. These little ones are not the church in heaven as many teach. They are a testimony against many in the church and especially against this wicked, murdering, generation. These are the children of "no choice."

(The earth has just swallowed up "the flood" of Rev. 12:15-16 & Dan. 9:26). The woman, Zion, flees into the wilderness for 1260 days: "A time, times, and half of a time."
The Great Tribulation begins:
WWIII is over, it is the hour of TEMPTATION that comes upon all the world.
"Here is the patience and faith of the saints," this is not HaMeshiach Yeshua.
"Blessed are the dead who die in the L-rd from henceforth."
The Temple of G-d is in Heaven: the purified Church worships at the altar.
The outer Court of the Gentiles, (the flesh,) has been "cast off."

Thus: "one hour" is 1260 days. This is the same "hour of temptation" that Yeshua said He would keep Philadelphia from, the same hour that the Ten Kings rule with the Beast. They give their kingdom to the Beast yet they are also still there at the end, at Armageddon, and will make war with the Lamb. Therefore "one hour" is 1260 days and "a half an hour" is 630 Days.

Daniel Ch. 11 ends up finalizing the ten-toe, ten-horn, kingdom. Dan. 11:40-45 is WWIII, (2.3 Billion dead,) NOT ARMAGEDDON! "Tidings out of the East and out of the North," (Dan. 11:44,) are Persia and Gog. This is why Egypt is conspicuously missing in Ezek. 38 even though Libya and Ethiopia are mentioned.
The Daniel Ch. 7 little-horn-king is the final Gentile king of the North, (king of the resurrected Greco-Seleucid, Medo-Persian, Babylonian Empire). He "plucks out" Egypt and two of the other first ten kings, (one of which is now proven to be Iraq-Shinar). So then it should be obvious that before the king of the South, Egypt, can be "plucked out" he must first rise to prominence once again.
The Daniel Ch. 8 little-horn-king appears Jewish and he is the same vile one who magnified himself against Christ. He is the final ruler of the revived Herodian Dynasty. He is the "son of perdition," and also the Seventh, (AND Eighth,) king of Rev. 17. His mortal head wound is healed and he assumes power after Michael the Archangel stands up, and that is definitely Dan. Ch. 12 ~ Rev. Ch. 10, (also Dan. Ch. 8 ~ Rev. Ch. 12).
Part of the problem is that many do not understand that Nebuchadnezzar actually saw the FOURTH BEAST in his Daniel Ch. 2 dream. The gold, silver, bronze, iron, and clay statue IS the fourth beast... not just a "progression" of different successive kingdoms. If you understand this then you will understand why Daniel says to Nebuchadnezzar: "YOU OH KING ARE THE HEAD OF GOLD." Nebuchadnezzar was ecstatic to hear such great news! Why? Because Nebuchadnezzar was possessed. In fact he underwent an exorcism, in Dan. Ch. 4, when "seven times" passed over him and his heart was exchanged for the "heart of a beast" (Dan. 4:16). The final "Aramaic Vision," given in Dan. 7, (which signifies that Dan. Ch. 2 thru Ch. 7 are concerning the Gentile Empires,) tells us that the first of the four final beasts, (the Lion,) is given back the "heart of a man," (Dan. 7:4).
Of the final world empire we are told: "These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth." These are probably the same four angels released from the Great River Euphrates in the Sixth Trumpet.
Three of those angels are:
1) The "Prince of Babylon" (who possessed Nebuchadnezzar).
2) The "Prince of Persia" (Dan. 10:20)
3) The "Prince of Greece" (Dan. 10:20)
True to form, the final Beast of Rev. 13 is a combination of the Lion; the Bear; and the Leopard. The USA began this kingdom with the "shock and awe" invasion of modern day Shinar, (Iraq,) in 2003. The Ten Horns of Dan. Ch. 7 will come from the two legs/two feet (with the Ten Toes) of iron and clay from Dan. Ch. 2:

"Abadan (Persian) is a city in the Khuzestan province in southwestern Iran (Persia) (30°21?N 48°17?E). It lies on Abadan Island (68 km/42 mi long, 3-19 km or 2-12 miles wide, the island is bounded in the west by the Arvand (confluence of both the Tigris and the Euphrates rivers, or Shat-ol Arab) waterway and to the east by the Bahmanshir outlet of the Karun River, (ancient Ulai,) 53 kilometers (33 mi) from the Persian Gulf, near the Iraqi-Iran border. It is the capital of Abadan County.
Abadan is named for Abbad, a member of the Abbasid dynasty who founded the city in the 8th century. It originally developed as a port city under the Abbasids’ rule, but it was not until the 20th century that rich oil fields were discovered in the area. The Anglo-Persian Oil Company built their first oil refinery in Abadan, starting in 1909 and completing it in 1913. By 1938, it was the largest in the world.
To this day it remains a vast facility for refining petroleum. In September 1980, Abadan was almost overrun during a surprise attack on Khuzestan by Iraq, marking the beginning of the Iran-Iraq War. For 18 months Abadan was beseiged, but never captured, by Iraqi forces. Much of the city, including the oil refinery, was badly damaged or destroyed by the siege and by bombing. Previous to the war, the city’s civilian population was about 300,000, but before it was over most of the populous had sought refuge elsewhere in Iran.
After the war, the biggest concern was the rebuilding of Abadan’s oil refinery. In 1993 the refinery began limited operation, and by 1997 it reached the same rate of production it was at before the war.
In 2005, the population was estimated to be at 415,139. The civilian population of the city dropped to near zero during the eight-years Iran–Iraq War. In 1992, only 84,774 had returned to live in the city. By 2001, the population had jumped to 206,073, only to double in the past five years."
