The vision of this album stems from my experience. I despaired from life's repetitive struggles. I was sick with illness and I was numb and broken. I was weary and the words for prayer were difficult. I was like the man from Mark 9:24 crying out to Jesus, "I believe, help thou mine unbelief!"

And then something happened. I stopped and sat in silence. Unable to speak, I listened in the quiet and God embraced me with His voice, touch, and presence. He transformed my despair to hope, my pain to faith and healed my heart.

It is my hope that in this journey of song you, too, might hear God's voice and find His love and peace.

This album is dedicated to Dr. Robert D. Williams and His ministry of Pastoral Care at the Marble Collegiate Church in New York City, New York.
