An electronics engineer by education, Bhat is now a Sr. Lecturer in the Electronics and Communications department at the Manipal Institute Of Technology. 
Ham interests include training students to becoming hams. 
Ever cheerful and sportive, this handsome young man has surprising ability to carry great masses on steep mountains single handed. This makes him an important participant on any field day! (we have lotsa lead batteries, you know). His 'ever ready' spirit to do anything and everything at anytime and anywhere makes him truly irreplacable..
