The Carmen's eyes Award
About a month ago, I recieved the distict honor of recieving my first ever award, From Nytecat of Legands of Fantasy. I was both honored and touched. I put said Award on my page, proudly along with the link.
Then I got to thinking.. Why aren't there more Carmen awards? Laurie's Manor award has been around forever, and with Nytecat's addition the count come to 2..
So I ransacked my 'creativly borrowed' photos, adobe experimentation and a few other archives to bring you the "Carmen's Eyes" award!
This Update's award goes to:
Take Me Down A cult classic Labyrinth/Neverending story crossover fanfic from my best friend, rose. (If you're a fan about this story, you're a total fanatic.. Believe me!) Password needed for a few really steamy parts... woo!

Want a CEA?
Who wouldn't? It's a nice little ornament to an already sparkling webpage. But how to get one?
You could wait for me to give you one. It's been know to happen. But if you don't want to wait like a disgruntled Salvation Army Employee with one of those stroke inducing bells, you could always apply.

I'll review your site, and if I like what I see, I'll send you your very own CEA.
Your page must have all of the following:
1)Some kind of Fanfic.
(preferably one with Carmen and Co., but any good fic is elegible)
2)A way to e-mail/contact the page maintainer
3) A Unique flavor.
So, what happens when I get it?
When you get a CEA award, by request or by surprise, drop me an e-mail saying that you got it up on your page (or will within the month). This is my clue to put a link to it on this page, and encode it, if need be.
If you do NOT want any part in this crazy enterprise, drop me a line, saying as much, and I'll leave you alone.
Wait a minute.. You send me an award, and I don't write your kind of fanfiction!
Not many people do. And if I only gave out CEA's to people who wrote CarmFic, this would be a signifigantly less lengthy page. Again, look at the instructions: SOME kind of fanfic. And regard the inscription on the award itself: "bringing a standard of excellence and overall (playful) insanity to the art of WOEICS, fanfic and beyond." If your page is well developed in one or two of these catagories, then you deserve the award as much as if you had all three.
I can't get into the links marked 'password protected!
Well, there's a reason for that. Great fanfic doesn't always fall in the G to PG-13 ratings class. If your site contains Darkfic, or anything considered to be above an 'R' in movie ratings, it's been encoded. I used the Darkfic Explaination Page Passwords as passwords for the sights that are best out of the hands of kids. (Crimenet LTD, is children's programing based, so we have to take these kinds of precautions.) But if you're within the requirments, stated on the passwords page,it's very easy to get the passwords, just go to the passwords page, and follow the instructions. (Yes, I know, my sutlety has all the light touch of a ball peen hammer.)
