^ Although PlayStation critics have been bragging about the state of the art "wireless" Playstation controller, Nintendo GameCube has one too.
^ Some different views of GameCube
Finally, Nintendo has made a name for the up-coming system which will be up early 2001. It is called "Nintendo GameCube." Nintendo will make their new system look like a cube. It's length is smaller than the Nintendo64 and Playstation 2  but it will be taller in height.
It features a new controller as you can see in the controllers below. As you can see, it has two new shoulder buttons which wasn't on the N64 controller. This controller is considered a better controller than Playstation experts say. Also, Nintendo has installed a DVD player which can play movies, just like the Playstation2.
Some other characteristics of GameCube that are similar to PS2 are that Nintendo has finally decided to use CDs like all the Playstation games. Also, GameCube will have a "Digicard" like a memory card that Playstations have. These cards have a memory of 64MB so when you buy one Digicard, you probably won't need to buy another for a while.
It's size is 8 cm long. This special CD is smaller than Playstation's, it will cut the "LOADING" time, and also streams infomation faster than Playstation2! The Nintendo games will be cheaper than Playstation2 even though the CDs Nintendo has are much better than PS2.
PS2 has been saying it's new system has internet access, and GameCube does too! It features a special link that can allow you to download media from the internet, use digital cameras, and transport game data.
A really cool feature is the "GameBoy Advance." Not only is this a new powerful Gameboy, it can also act as a controller for GameCube. But due to the lack of buttons, GameBoy Advance will only do good for Sports games.
GameCube also comes in all sorts of colours like N64 did near the end of its lifespan, but since since they're available at launch, it won't be just a marketing ploy to save dwindling sales. Enjoy the pictures below; they should provide some information.
