Tribute to Bob Tarrant

Love, Gratitude

The agony is so great...
And yet I will stand it.
Had I not loved so very much
I would not hurt so much.
But goodness knows I would not
Want to diminish that precious love
By one fraction of an ounce.
I will hurt
And I will be grateful to the hurt
For it bears witness to
The depth of our meanings,
And for that I will be
eternally grateful.

In Loving Memory of Bob Tarrant
1935 - 1998

Bob was born in Christchurch, Dorset, England and spent all of his life there except for a brief spell when he lived in Harare, Zimbabwe.

Bob worked in aviation all his life and loved it. We all knew that he would never retire. At the time of his passing, he worked at Jet Heritage and had just finished doing a days work which concluded with a picturesque sunset flight along the coast of England.

Bob loved Jack Daniels but didn't indulge too heavily but treated himself royally when on vacation. It was a dream of his to eventually get to Lynchburg, TN to the home of his beloved bourbon. There were still many places in this world that Bob planned to visit and in some cases, to revisit.

Bob's family name [ Tarrant ] has much history. Check this link for a list of interesting sites on our family name.

We love you Bob. We miss you Bob. XX O XX
