| biography first started enemo j possibly early 2002 with the line up consisting of bucky on bass, leroy on vocals, craig on vocals and samples, bob on guitar and dennis on drums to the current line up of welly on bass craig on vocals and samples dennis on drums and bob still on guitar. this has been the line up for the past two years . now having sold 500 copys of there demo album 'infuential dropout' (the band decided to pull the recording awaiting the new and upcoming album) and over two thousand copys of the song itself 'influential dropout' have gone out, Winning there hometown battle of the bands, and coming third in close by tamworth (only metal band in the top three) they then went on to come second in the emergenza midlands contest (which are the official scouts of sony columbia) at a sold out gig at the birmingham academy 2, also on that event bob won best guitarist in the midlands event. enemo j have aslo supported alot of big and upcoming acts (see below) and had lots of fantastic backing off xposed magazine giving them 5/5 for there first recording and getting them air play on bbc radio. the best press quote was 'enemo j dont try and grab your attention they already own it and if your lucky they might let you have it back'. enemo j are set to record with matt ellis who has produced some work for the visible noise label working with bands such as number one son, rico, ex group dog drill and even louise and eternal as well as his own group 'honky' so watch this space. |
