In 1960's, californian surfers put wheels beneath their surfs and then the skateboard was born by this idea. in 1970 skateboard succeeded and get to be sold in the entire world, but no moves and tricks existeed.
in 1970's, the ollie was born by Alan Gelfand, which was to make the board go up to the air.
The King of freestyle, Rodney Mullen opened the history of skateboarding by inventing basic tricks such the kickflips, heelflips, varial flips, 360 flips and many other. He also is king of balance and freestyling. At this time the skaters take chance of the public domain such as streets, handrails, set of stairs etc. So then skateboarding was considered dangerous and almost illegal.
