Our Guild Charter | |||||||
The Fires of Winter is a guild founded on mutual respect and based upon the principal that the world of Norrath is a wide enough place for one to enjoy themself and be free of hassle. We are a close-knit core group that is expanding to include new members and welcome them into our family. The majority of the core members split from another guild due to conflicts with the new leader that usurped control of the guild, going against the will of the members and their vote. As such, we have vowed to allow all member voices to be heard and that each member will be given consideration of their views. Roleplaying is welcome and even encouraged within the guild. Roleplay adds an interesting flavor to the game and allows individuals to expand on their creativity, as well as providing some truly humorous situations. When interacting with others across the world of Norrath, guild members should always remember that their actions are a reflection upon the guild and act accordingly. While we do not believe in heavy-handed rules, we do believe in acting in a manner that befits our desire to be well respected as a guild. As such, anyone found violating the nature of the guild will be dismissed. The Fires of Winter values the alliances it forms with other guilds. As such, all members are to treat members of allied guilds as though they were guildmates, with the same courtesy and respect. The Fires of Winter maintains a guild roster. All members of the guild are required to register on our guild website and sign up for our guild newsletter. (This will require you to create a yahoo account. Follow the link from the main index page for more information.) The Fires of Winter is a part of the Socius in Veneratio guild alliance. All members are required to sign up on the SiV message board to keep informed of SiV functions. |
