A few words from the webmistress:
This site is ran by a survivor of child abuse. I am not a counselor, nor are any
of the chat moderators who volunteer their time. This is a place for other
survivors to come and share their stories, and find others who have been there.
My goal is to make society more aware of the lasting effects child abuse has on
survivors. By breaking the silence and coming forth with our
secrets, we will also encourage society to take this issue more seriously. The more aware we are, the more aware our neighbors are, then the
more likely we are to stop these crimes against our children.
Please feel free to join in the discussions on the message board, and join in on
a chat session. You may even open the chat room yourself, and wait for someone
to enter. We have but one rule here, and that is to respect all who enter here,
as they will respect you.
