Really basic. My name is Katrina. I'm 22. Birthday is February 5th. Can't think of anything else.
I grew up in Carnation, WA. Even if you're from Washington you may not know where that is (20 minutes east of Redmond). It's cow country. 20 minutes to the nearest store, that kinda thing. But I lived on 6 acres, which was awesome as a kid. Plus I roamed over everyone's backyards (no fences there). :)
Elementary, middle, and 9th grade of high school, Riverview School District. After that and a year of Transition School, I went to UW. At the University of Washington I majored in Chemistry and Zoology, and ended up with two cute golden yellow tassels for my graduation.
Then I went to UC Berkeley, for a wonderful 2 years in my program. I'm now teaching Chemistry fulltime in SF. Hopefully I'll do a good job. :)
I live on Treasure Island in San Francisco. I have a roommate that went to UW with me. I have the absolutely best view of SF possible. People come to TI to take pictures of SF

Basically I love two things, music and reading. This is outside of talking to friends, which now that I'm in Cali, is done mostly through aim, although some holdouts still require conversation over phone. Although I've actually gotten my parents on aim!
Reading wise, I mainly read Sci-Fi/Fantasy (mainly the fantasy). Favorite authors... Tad Williams, David Eddings, Anne McCaffrey, Mercedes Lackey, and a couple other single books. I occassionally read mainstream books, but very rarely.
I like a whole bunch of different music, and dislike a few genres, mainly hip-hop/rap, country, and heavy metal. Umm… favorite bands… DMB (Dave Matthews Band), BNL (Barenaked Ladies), R.E.M., Emiliana Torrini , Joydrop, Led Zepplin, Tom Petty, Duncan Sheik, Pink Floyd.
And I love going to concerts, although I prefer the Gorge to the Shoreline Amphitheatre.
I also like to read Sinfest. Amusingly, I've found a couple of comics I think represent people I know. In the interest of friendship however, I'm not going to put them up here. :)
