Marzo 1 : especimen toca en el centro de convenciones de tlanepantla, ante una audiencia de 3000 pers. donde recibieron reconocimientos al me jor grupo del año.
Marzo 8 : se presentan en el estado de ecatepec,( metamorfosis bar.) ante un lleno total. a los dias siguientes de este evento saldrian del grupo Antonio Molina ( guitarra.) y Gustavo p. machado. ( bateria.)
Abril 14 : comienzan audiciones para encontrar nuevos elementos para el grupó.
Abril 25 : entra como guitarrista Francisco Hernandez ( Franky Money. ) ex guitarrista de los grupos " raxas y luzbel"
Mayo 3 : especimen recive propuesta para firmar un nuevo contrato de produccion internacional por parte de la cia. " Discos Denver"
Julio 4 : entre gran cantidad de bateristas fue seleccionado victor herrera ( vic h. drums. ) talentoso musico de importantes grupos.
Julio 13 : comienzan los ensayos preparativos de su proximo disco.
Septiembre 28 : bajo una gran produccion se llevo acabo en los estudios planetaudio, la grabacion de 16 nuevos temas, utilizando por primera vez lo ultimo en tecnologia de grabacion digital. ( pro-tool.)
Durante los meses de Oct, Nov. y Dic., se terminaron de grabar y mezclar todos los temas, con un tiempo record de 300 horas de estudio, siendo el productor el sr. Francisco loaeza y jose ferragut el ingeniero.
Diciembre 20 : especimen despide el año y se presenta en exclusiva ante un lleno total en el centro civico de ecatepec. ( c.c.e. ) generando excelentes comentarios de su regreso por la prensa especializada de rock.
