Tony Kornheiser, co-host of Pardon the Interruption since the show began in the fall of 2001, in addition is a columnist for The Washington Post, a radio show host, and an author. He is known for his witty, insightful, and sometimes controversial remarks.
        Kornheiser, a 1970 graduate of Harpur College in New York state, has been working for The Post since
1979, writing sports columns daily and writing in the
style section of the paper's Sunday edition. In addition to writing for The Post, he has written for the New York Times, the new York Post, and the New York Newsday.
        Working at ESPN before PTI came along, Kornheiser has been hosting his radio show, The Tony Kornheiser Show, since January 1998.
        Tony is also the author of two books, and one compilation of newspaper articles. His two books,
Pumping Irony and Bald as I Wanna Be have been very successful, due to his rather large fanbase. He also compiled his very best Washington Post articles into
I'm Back for More Cash.
        He is married, and he and his wife have two

children.
