WHAT IS REALITY ANYWAY?
A NEW LOOK AT
ILLUSION AND
DISILLUSIONMENT
ZIEBWA: How are your illusions doing? Aiwa remember,
a good illusion looks real, feels real smells real, sounds real, tastes
real. Seems every way to be reality itself. Is this not a good illusion?
A not the elements of your day-to-day existence good illusions? Your insecurities
and fears, good illusions? Your reasons that you give yourself for loving
people and the reasons that you give yourself for withholding love to people,
are they not good illusions?
So let’s start from the fundamental assumption that everything
that you have ever assumed was and is reality simply a very good illusion.
Would you all like to start at this place with us? Now,
just go inside and let yourself get in touch with that place where you
are considering the possibility that everything that you ever thought was
reality is an illusion which is the foundation for your reality, which
is in fact an illusion. And the concept that it is an illusion is another
illusion. And the experience that we are actually even here is another
illusion The illusion that there is such a thing as one reality predominant.
See the dominance in your consciousness the illusion that there is such
a thing as reality. See how you cling to reality and see how even that
clinging is a result an illusion. And see the illusion of death. And see
that because of the illusion of death, you cling to the illusion that you
call reality. And while you are at it, notice how yo mental body works.
Notice how its job is to decide which illusions are useful and which are
not. Whatever illusion the mental body finds functional and useful in terms
of yo survival, it strengthens and enhances so that they become better
and better illusions. So that you operate in your life as if these
illusions are in fact reality itself. With very little question, very little
thought about it, this is reality because it feels real, looks real, smells
real, tastes real and sound real. But what is reality? Have you not seen
and experienced things that you called reality revealed as illusion Have
you not said, “Oh, I thought it was that way, but I see now that it is
this way”.
Allow yourself to consider the possibility that on the
entire planet, in the entire cosmos, that very thing is taking place. “Oh,
I thought it was that way, but now, l am seeing that it is this way.”
A new illusion is emerging. It, too, going to look real, feel real, smell
real, taste real, ar sound real until it’s replaced with another one and
that or will be the same, until it’s replaced with another one. And that
one will seem so real to you, more real that anything you have ever experienced
before, until it’s replaced with a other one. This is what we call the
unfoldment back to the Source. We call this coming home to the Oneness.
We call this the eternal quest. We call this the co-creation of Heaven
on Earth. Allowing our illusions to be revealed to be illusions. Then new
illusions seem real and we engage in them wholeheartedly until we recognize
the illusion.
You are all in a deep state of dis-illusionment. What
wonderful place to be. Illusions are revealing themselves to be illusions.
You can participate in this process—delightfully, ecstatically, wholeheartedly.
I will now enter the illusion that I am no longer here with you.
