The Tour
Hey, what exactly is the Helpgame?Let me explain:
Helpgame.net was designed for the Beatles 1 project, for promotion of the CD. It is a chatroom, mainly, where you can gab with your friends. However, the true fun in this site lies in the GAME part of HelpGame, where you become one of the four Beatles! Come on in and register!
Once you have registered(mine being rocketman,) you end up in the bar. You'll find what looks like a bar, obviously. This area is used primarily for chatting. Notice the blue meany? This feature is quite odd. The meany acts as a surrogate barman(the story of the barman that never was)walking along to what some think is the slowed-down version of the beginning of Pink Floyd's Money. Let's go onto the stage.
The stage serves as three purposes. Again, this sector is primarily used as a chatroom. Also, if a team of four wins the game, they'll come out on the stage and play a Beatles song! However, this room also contains a portal to the game! Hop on the disc of your favorite Beatle and be whisked away!
Here we are in the central island, where the game begins! There are 4 sub-portals and a basement connected to the center island. Once everyone has collected their instrument, you hop back on the discs to play a song for the crowd! This is also where Ringo receives his key. See more on this in the instruments section.
Let's explore Abbey Road now. There are two parts to Abbey Road-The Road itself, and the recording studio where the Ringo's drums are found. Watch out for the speeding cars!
The Yellow Submarine is where Paul's bass can be found. Again, there are two parts to this area-The outside and inside of the sub. Be careful not to get eaten by a Blue Meany!
Welcome to the maze. This maze is where John's acoustic can be found. The process involves one person pushing a button in order to let John, or whoever is getting the acoustic, across. After crossing the bridge, you must pass the Blue Meany to get the guitar waiting for you! Be careful, but do you know the easy way?
The final area is the ski slope, widely considered the hardest area. Meanies come charging at George, in pursuit of his red, electric guitar. Be very, very careful and escape out the cabin!
The basement is now essentially defunct, but you can still grab a bunch of keys from the cabinet! What's up with that sunlight, though!?
I think we're ready to hop back on our discs and go out on stage! You'll play from a variety of songs...which one will you play? The experience of being onstage the first time is one of the highlights of Help. Relish it, enjoy, but don't walk offstage!!!!
