I am listed by the NYC Metropolitan Museum of Art and many art databases worldwide. GRUZEWSKI (Lubicz) Family originates from Mazowsze and Zmudz. Since 1579, owners of Kielmy Estate. Jan and Mikolaj Gruzewscy - associates of Prince Boguslaw and Piotr Radziwill. Jerzy Gruzewski (1592-1651) - Hetman Koronny of Lithuania. In ~1673 Jakub Gruzewski married Anna Potocki. Family ties with Polish noble families: Oginski, Polubinski, Sapieha, and Wlodzimierz the Great, the Grand Duke of Kijew. Juliusz Gruzewski was a leader of "Styczniowe" Uprising against Russian occupation (1831), later became an Ambassador to Switzerland, and co-founded known famous Patek-Philipe watch manufacturing company in Geneve, Switzerland.
