Please protect the World

This was a song written about protecting the environment, for a girl's choir and (originally) orchestra (one of the compositions for my GCSE exam :p).  Unfortunately it was rather difficult to find enough time/ "resources" to do the whole thing (full instruments), so this recording just had a piano accompaniment.

Here I would like to thank all my friends who helped me to make this recording.  They have spent a lot of their time to do it - thank you all!

Please protect the world from all its hazards,
with all the possibilities,
to make this earth a better place it's ever been.

Wish this world had never changed,
but it has been heavily changed
all harms that we do
to this earth must be stopped right now!

God had created this world
for us to look after,
we're responsible, to what happens around us.

If you want to save this world,
don't you dare use sprays!
Do not use plastic bags,
satchels instead; :p
Do not waste paper,
recycle them!
This world which we live in,
can be a much better one ... if we~~

(please) protect the world from all its hazards
with all the possibilities,
keep rivers flowing birds freely flying,
make it a better world than it had ever been!
Please protect the world from all its dangers,
it's our responsibilities,
to make this world a better world it's ever been -
(PROTECT THE WORLD!)

"Big Bau Liu" - Burst into explosion

"Big bau liu" literally means burst into explosion in cantonese.

The origins of this song: a fat woman was singing it in my dream and when I woke up I decided to write it down and expand it.

The story in the dream: a fat woman (B) secretly fell in love with a guy (C) whose lover, D say, died just recently.  B (the fat girl) tried to take her place in the guy's heart by wearing a dress that D used to wear quite often, but when the buttons bursted flying out (because B was fat) B couldn't be more sad and starts to sing "big bau liu" ...

Whether it is a reflection of my real life I do not know, but I certainly have a better idea of what will fit me and what doesn't ^_^

There are two sets of lyrics to this song, one written by me (inspired by the dream obviously :), the other written by a friend, Anna Lam.  Unfortunately I can't type Chinese here at the moment so I can't write the lyrics out yet (and I didn't record with anybody singing, would just be too funny :-) ... anyway ...
