| If you look closely, you see at the inner bay, formed by the El Mogote peninsular right to the village of El Centenario, 'EL COMITAN PIER'. Here is the lovely HACIENDA del SOL |
| Coming from La Paz, at Km 17 on Hwy # 1 north is the turn off to SAN JUAN de la COSTA. After 100yd past the gas station use the first PAVED ROAD on the right. There is a sign reading "Centro de Invo. Biologico" or CIB. If you follow this street for 1 Km, there is the one and only intersection with graded SAND roads. Turn to the right and see the street numbers at the power poles on your right. At number 3 turn left, cross another intersection and after about 1 Km just 100 yds before the beach, you will see the HACIENDA del SOL on your left. Easy to recognize by a big natural hedge. We really don't like walls! |

| Many of our guests who come to us for the first time are pretty impressed. The comments range from: "Whow, it really is as beautiful as shown at the web side". To: "I was very sceptical and thought there must be a catch with these low prices." PLEASE REMEMBER: The 'HACIENDA DEL SOL' is our hobby and a fund raiser for the local RED CROSS. We are also supporting the Orphanage and the Old Folks Home. Most of our guests know each other since more than 65% where here before and we are like a big family. You are not a room number and we love to tell you all about Baja, where to go and what to see, the best restaurants and the stores where you can find a real bargain. So, pack some suntan lotion and some humor in your luggage and be prepared to have a good time. Oh, and if you still have some space left in your "Samsonite", you can bring some used clothing for our charities along. "Size really doesn't matter". HA Bring your cell phone too. Most of them will work here just fine and if you bring the laptop, we have wireless broad band high speed connection. |
| Just to make your vacation complete, we also have Ocean Kajaks. The 'sit-on-top' touring boats are very easy to handle and easy to get on and off in the water. |
