Station 963 - Junior Chiefs |
Boys and Girls play an important part in fire safety. Many fires in the home are caused by unsafe handling of matches or candles, or by the careless use of certain flammable materials or liquids. You can be sure that you are prepared to be a Junior Chief by making sure you know what to do in case of a fire. Knowing that it is important to have a fire extinguisher and working smoke detectors can save valuable time during a fire. Also having an escape route planned with an outside meeting area were the whole family can gather is very important. Practicing the escape route will make sure that everyone is ready. |
