EXECUTIVE DECISIONS launches The League of Varsity Models 2004, a modeling quest that goes beyond superficiality. While admittedly, still a search for model-type students, The Lague incorporates other important components: health and fitness, values, education and social involvement. The search fosters collegiate fellowship, promotes the idea of good, clean fun and encourages goal attainment and sense of achievement.

Modeling searches and competitions in schools abound, but there remains a room for one that truly fosters camaraderie and promotes goodwill among universities, where the emphasis is not only on good looks but more so on having a positive, progressive attitude for self and social development. This is the gap that The League of Varsity Models aims to fill.

A Varsity Model is a college student who projects model-type looks, exudes vibrant and positive attitude towards education, sports and fitness and school / community service. He or she must be pleasant-looking, fashionable, articulate and talented. The search for The League of Varsity Models starts this coming schoolyear. For inquiries and sponsorship, please call The League of Varsity Models secretariat at 413-6436 to 37 and look for Ms. Cynthia Diaz or e-mail exec@pacific.net.ph. - Erwin M. Aurella

EXECUTIVE DECISIONS mounts VIVA! Mineral Water's VIVAcious Party, the midyear series of high-impact concert-fashion shows that unveils VIVA! Mineral Waterís vibrant new bottle storms the countryís top gimmick places. Aimed at upscale college students and yuppies, the hangout party defines the shape and sound of summer 2003 with fresh music and fashion picks.

The VIVAcious Party rocked three key venues in Metro Manila (Glorietta 4 Park on May 9; Town Plaza, Alabang Town Center on May 16; and Central Plaza, Eastwood City Walk on May 30) and one hip and happening spot in Cebu (The Village, Cebu, June 14). Hosting the VIVAcious Parties were popular radio duo Chico and Delamar together with tv babe Pia Guanio, model-host Brad Turvey and veejay Franco Mabanta as anchors.

The fashion segments featured twenty A-list models that include beauty queen Joanna PeŮalosa, hunky Kenji Marquez, runway staple Avi Siwa and commercial model Lauren Novero, walking down the catwalk in Leviís and Dockers clothes that exude the cool, vibrant, upbeat and refreshing quality of VIVA! Mineral Water.

The concert segments were a blast, featuring top performances from R and B artist Malik with the Escape Band, soul siren Nina with the Essence Band, pop favorite Karylle, the unique AKA Fellas, debonair singer RJ Rosales, shimmering diva Anna Fegi and the countryís premiere dance group, the Manoeuvres.

Together with fashion partners Dockers and Leviís and media partners E! Entertainment Television Philippines, BusinessWorld and HerWord the VIVAcious Party series was an enormous success drawing huge crowds in all venues, proving that VIVA! Mineral Water fits an upbeat, cool and healthy lifestyle-whenever, wherever. - Erwin M. Aurella
