'69 Pontiac GTO
Next up is detailing the engine compartment and the interior, I'm not going for originality so there will be some changes made to clean it up a bit.
More pics are coming soon.
First I plan on welding up any small holes not needed in the firewall, I'm ditching the bulky air conditioning unit housing on the firewall, the A/C was previously hacked off anyway.  I'll replace it with one for heat only.  I'm rerouting the wire loom that use to sit on top the driver's fender to the inside of the fender and relooming and repairing the rest of the wiring.  I'm using an internally regulated alternator to eliminate the regulator on the firewall.  I've flipped my double inlet fuel line to my carb so it faces the firewall, so now the fuel line will run up from behind the engine.  I've replaced the stock fuel pump with a Holley electric fuel pump to eliminate back tracking of the line and clutter under the hood.  Everything will be degreased, pressure washed, sanded and repainted .  I have some minor rewiring to do with the headlights and I noticed the windshield wiper motor is also incorrect.  This causes my windshield wiper arms to sit about two inches to high on the windshield and it has to be corrected or replaced.  I also have a bad hood hinge on the driver's side that needs replacing.
On the inside I have to rewire some of the dash wiring, and add in a few things.  First I have to run a wire from my electric kickdown switch to my tranny, then I have to run an ignition wire to my fuel pump.  I need to replace the dash insert by the steering wheel, and all new dash knobs, and the plastic slide inside the shifter.  The inside doesn't need much work but it's not up to my specs, so everything will be replaced or repaired some time.   The Auto Meter guages are going to stay because they are more accurate than the factory guages. I'm upgrading the sound system with better rear speakers and speakers mounted in the front kickpanels, I plan on installing a 6 spd. tranny some day and have to work around my parking brake pedal when I build the kick panels, the speakers will be powered by the CD player I have installed.  I also have to install a few things the previous owner didn't when he reassembled the interior, dome light, seat belts, some weather stripping, and minor upholstery mistakes.  More good stuff later.

I've cleaned up the holes for welding and I removed the old A/C housing.
You can see the wiring mess on the wheel well in this pic.
On the inside I have a lot of rewiring to do, notice the aftermarket fuse block in the bottom pic.
