Baby born with two heads get operation
An infant child who was recovering following successful surgery to remove her second head has died.
It took 11 hours to complete the complicated operation led by Dr. Jorge Lazareff and included Eighteen other surgeons, nurses and doctors.
12 hours after the completion of the operation, the baby died due to complications. Doctors knew that the 8-week-old girl, Rebeca Martinez, would be susceptible to infection or hemorrhaging.
The procedure was the first of it's kind and our prayers go out to the little girls family.
